The Confederation Cup 2024-2025 will come to a close on Sunday, May 25, with the second leg of the final between RS Berkane (Morocco) and Simba Sport (Tanzania).

Having won the first leg 2-0, the Moroccan champions have taken a significant step toward clinching the title.

Since 2023, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has increased the prize money awarded to clubs.

Winner: USD 2,000,000

Runner-up: USD 1,000,000

Semi-finalists (2): USD 750,000

Quarter-finalists (4): USD 550,000

3rd in group (4): USD 400,000

4th in group (4): USD 400,000

For the record, the Moroccan side has previously claimed Africa's second biggest club trophy twice, in the 2020 and 2022 editions.

Meanwhile, Simba Sports are still in pursuit of their first-ever Confederation Cup triumph.
