Placed in Group F, the five-time African champions will face off against Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, and Mozambique.

For this major continental event, Cameroon will most likely be without newcomer Nathan Ngoumou.

Suffering from a ruptured Achilles tendon, the Borussia Mönchengladbach forward will be sidelined for 9 months.

Unfortunate for the Toulouse native who recently changed his sporting nationality from French to Cameroonian, in accordance with the regulations of the International Football Federation (FIFA).

To recall, he participated in the last two matches of the “Indomitable Lions” against Eswatini and Libya, without managing to score a goal.

Nathan Ngoumou's season in numbers

In 21 matches played this season in the Bundesliga and the German Cup, Nathan Ngoumou has scored 2 goals and provided one assist.
