Mali and Zambia are facing off this Monday in the opening match of Group A at this CAN 2025. At the break, the score remains goalless.

Plenty of fouls, a few chances, and a missed penalty. The Eagles pressed hard but couldn’t break the deadlock between Mali and Zambia, who remain level at the Mohamed V Stadium (0-0). Mwanza, the Zambian goalkeeper, made a superb dive to his left to deny the low-driven penalty from former Reims player, Touré.

The Malian Eagles will have the most regrets at half-time, as they have dominated the Chipolopolo, who have shown great aggression and defensive solidity.
