The highly anticipated clash of this UNAF U17 tournament between Morocco and Algeria has delivered its verdict. The young Fennecs fell short.

The tournament is being held in Libya and on Friday featured a derby between Morocco and Algeria. After a resounding 5-1 victory over Libya, Algeria faced a major challenge against Morocco, the tournament favorites, who had already claimed a 2-0 win in their opening match against Tunisia.

But the Atlas Cubs, led by the outstanding Ibrahim Rabbaj—Chelsea's rising star—put on a dominant display, securing a clear-cut 3-0 win against an Algerian side that simply had no answer. Morocco continues to showcase its impressive dominance at youth level and looks well on course to book its ticket for the U17 Africa Cup of Nations.
