Carlo Boukhalfa finds new momentum in Switzerland

Free since the end of his contract with FC St. Pauli, Carlo Boukhalfa is taking on a new challenge. The German-Algerian midfielder has officially signed a two-year deal with FC St. Gallen, a Swiss top-flight club, keeping him there until June 2027.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, July 1, via the Swiss club's X (formerly Twitter) account:

Carlo Boukhalfa joins FC St. Gallen on a free transfer from FC St. Pauli. He has signed a two-year contract. Welcome, Carlo!

At 26 years old, Carlo Boukhalfa will bring his experience and versatility to St. Gallen’s midfield. Having previously played for Freiburg and Jahn Regensburg before joining St. Pauli, he will now look to establish himself in the Swiss Super League and reignite his career on new ground.
