CHAN 2024: the list of winners by region

It's time for the 8th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will take place from August 2 to August 30, 2025.

For the first time in its history, the tournament will be hosted by three countries: Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

With two tournament victories each, Morocco and DR Congo lead the way as the most successful national teams in CHAN history.

UNAF (North Africa) - 4 titles: Morocco (2), Libya (1), and Tunisia (1)

UNIFFAC (Central Africa) - 2 titles: DR Congo (2)

WAFU (West Africa) – 1 title: Senegal (1)

CECAFA (East Africa) – 0 titles

COSAFA (Southern Africa) – 0 titles
