Chelsea Launch Official Talks for Ajax Star, Rivals Liverpool in Transfer Battle

Chelsea FC've entered official negotiations to sign Ajax defender Jorrel Hato , a top target also on Liverpool’s radar ahead of the 2025 /26 Premier League season according to report by talkSPORT.

Price Dispute with Ajax

Chelsea are reportedly preparing 40 million sterling pound bid but Ajax have set firm asking price of 60 million sterling pound for the Netherlands international whose current contract runs until summer 2028. The deal doesn't include release clause.

The 19 year old played 50 match for Ajax last season, scoring 3 goals and has already earned 6 caps for the Dutch national team.
