Chelsea put 14 players on sale for the summer market
Chelsea want to start next season better than they did this season after securing a ticket to play in the Champions League next season, and Italian coach Enzo Maresca is expected to receive additional support for next season to compete domestically and continentally.
A number of players will leave Chelsea: Who are they!
According to press reports, including reports from The Guardian, several players are expected to leave Chelsea this summer, the first of which is Joao Felix, and after a loan spell at AC Milan, the player arrived for the 2024-2025 season and now seems to be living his last days at Chelsea.
Madueke, who had a good spell with Chelsea this season and scored 11 goals, was expected to be a regular starter last season but that didn't happen and it looks like the former PSV Eindhoven player will be leaving this summer.
Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic are among the players on the team's list of departures this summer.
Chelsea are reportedly open to offers for several first-team players as the club looks to reshape its squad ahead of the new season. Defenders Renato Veiga, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, and Wesley Fofana could all depart if suitable bids arrive, while Trevoh Chalobah’s future remains uncertain just a year after the club first attempted to move him on.
In midfield, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Lesley Ugochukwu have been made available for transfer. Dewsbury-Hall, who followed manager Enzo Maresca from Leicester City to Chelsea, has struggled to establish himself at Stamford Bridge. Additionally, attackers Christopher Nkunku and Raheem Sterling—the latter coming off a disappointing loan spell at Arsenal—have also been deemed surplus to requirements and could leave if acceptable offers materialize.
On the recruitment front, Chelsea have initiated discussions with Borussia Dortmund over a potential deal for Jamie Gittens, the highly rated England U-21 winger. The youngster has also attracted interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool, setting the stage for a potential transfer battle.
