Chemsdine Talbi: Sunderland and Club Brugge on the verge of an agreement
Chemsdine Talbi

Young Moroccan international Chemsdine Talbi is set to join Sunderland this summer from Club Brugge, with the two clubs reportedly just a step away from sealing the deal.

According to journalists Sacha Tavolieri and Hanif Ben Berkane, negotiations are intensifying between Sunderland and Club Brugge for Chemsdine Talbi. Tavolieri initially reported that Sunderland and Brugge were in talks over a transfer worth close to €20 million for Talbi this summer.

The Moroccan player is indeed excited about the move, with a five-year contract waiting for him at the Stadium of Light. The agreement is now on the verge of being finalized for a total of €23 million, including bonuses.

Talbi is still in Belgium, but is expected to travel to England early next week to undergo his medical and sign the contract.

Meanwhile, Hanif Ben Berkane has confirmed the news, stating that an agreement has been reached between Sunderland and Brugge for the winger. He specifies that the fee is €23 million and that the player will sign a contract until 2030.
