Club World Cup 2025: 4 Moroccans included in Al Ain squad

Four Moroccan players will take part in the Club World Cup with the Emirati team Al Ain.

They are the Rahimi brothers, Soufiane and Houcine, along with two new signings Nassim Chadli and Yahya Benkhaleq.

The Soufiane Rahimi effect

Soufiane Rahimi's successful stint convinced the Emirati club to invest in the Moroccan football school, renowned for producing exceptionally talented players.

To recall, the former Raja player has scored 65 goals and provided 45 assists in 145 appearances for Al Ain across all competitions. This impressive record has boosted his market value to the 8 million euro mark.

Drawn into Group G, the Emirati football giant will face Wydad (Morocco), Manchester City (England), and Juventus (Italy).

Moroccans making a statement at the Club World Cup

In addition to the players from Wydad and Al Ain, several other Moroccan stars will feature at the Club World Cup, including Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain), Brahim Diaz, and Youssef Lekhedim "Yusi" (Real Madrid).
