Club World Cup 2025: Al Ahly's likely starting eleven against Palmeiras

The Egyptian football powerhouse Al Ahly will be aiming to secure all three points in their upcoming clash against Palmeiras at the Club World Cup, scheduled for Thursday, June 19.

After being held to a draw in their opening match against Inter Miami (1-1), the Cairo giants are seeking their first win in this American campaign, though their task will be anything but easy against a highly competitive Brazilian side.

Spanish coach Jose Riveiro will be without his key man Emam Ashour, who is ruled out for the rest of the tournament after sustaining a collarbone injury.

To fill the void left by the Egyptian international, the former Orlando Pirates boss is expected to turn to Ahmed Sayed, known as Zizo, who made a strong impression in the match against the Florida franchise.
