The long-awaited reunion between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain didn’t go as the Real Madrid star had hoped.

The Parisians delivered a footballing masterclass against the Madrid side, cruising to a stunning 4-0 victory to book their place in the final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Having made his move from PSG to Real Madrid in July 2024, the French international failed to make an impact against his former teammates. He managed four shots, but only one on target.

The France captain struggled throughout the match, much like the rest of his teammates, and barely saw the ball. According to Marca’s statistics, he completed only 15 passes (12 successful) and committed a foul.

The 26-year-old striker wraps up a breathtaking debut season with 44 goals and 5 assists in 59 matches, but without a major trophy.
