This means he will be eligible to take part in the opening match of the Club World Cup, scheduled for June 15, where the Egyptian football powerhouse will face Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.
Still under contract with Al Zamalek, Zizo must wait for the Egyptian Cup final before he can officially sign with the reigning African champions.

As a reminder, the Cup final will see Zamalek take on Pyramids—recent winners of the Champion's League —on Thursday, June 7.
Al Ahly's blockbuster transfer window
The Cairo club has not hesitated to break the bank in this exceptional Club World Cup transfer window, securing the signatures of several proven talents. Alongside Zizo, they have brought in Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Hamdi Fathi, and Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane.
Drawn in Group A of the Club World Cup, Al Ahly will face Inter Miami (USA), Palmeiras (Brazil), and FC Porto (Portugal).
