Club World Cup: Two African players in the team of the round of 16!

The team of the round of 16 at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, currently taking place in the United States, has highlighted two major African stars.

The specialist platform Sofascore released its ideal XI for this round, featuring Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi and Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy, both of whom delivered standout performances.

PSG’s right-back Achraf Hakimi once again shone, scoring a decisive goal against Inter Miami and further cementing his status as one of the world’s best in his position.

Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy, playing for Borussia Dortmund, made his mark by netting a brace against Monterrey, sending his team through to the quarterfinals.
