COSAFA U20: Zambia keep winning and remain top of Group C

Zambia are not wavering in the COSAFA tournament qualifying for the 2027 Africa U27 Cup of Nations in Ghana. At ABB Stadium in Matola, the Young Chipolopolo, 12-time champions, secured a second consecutive victory against Comoros (2-0).

Group C leaders After an initial 2-0 win over Malawi thanks to a brace from Billy Daka, the Junior Chipolopolo this time made the difference late in the match, winning 3-0 against Comoros. Their dominance was rewarded with goals from Tumelo Mununga, Abel Nyirongo and Kayula Chinunda. With 6 points, Zambia remain top of Group C.

On the other hand, Comoros had begun their campaign with a goalless draw against Botswana. The U20 Cœlacanthes have therefore suffered their first defeat and will need to bounce back on the next matchday
