Cristiano Ronaldo on the verge of a first title with Al-Nassr
Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (41) is closing in on his very first official title with Al-Nassr. The Saudi club now stands just 11 points away from clinching the Saudi Pro League crown.
On Matchday 29, Al-Nassr secured a vital victory over Al-Ettifaq (1-0) on Wednesday night at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh.
The game's only goal came in the 31st minute courtesy of Kingsley Coman. After Ronaldo's powerful shot was parried by goalkeeper Marek Rodák, the French international was quick to react, calmly slotting home the rebound.
Thanks to this win, Al-Nassr strengthens its grip at the top with 76 points, ahead of Al-Hilal (68 points) and Al-Ahli (66 points).

Ronaldo and his teammates have five crucial matches left to seal the title. They will take on Al-Ahli (MD30), Al-Qadsiah (MD31), followed by a much-anticipated clash with Al-Hilal (MD32).
The season concludes with Al-Shabab (MD33), before a final showdown against Damac (MD34).
Since arriving in Saudi Arabia in 2022, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has yet to lift an official trophy with Al-Nassr, but he has never been closer to ending that wait.
