Al Hilal opens talks for Iliman Ndiaye

The Saudi club Al Hilal has kicked off negotiations in a bid to sign Senegalese forward from Everton, Iliman Ndiaye. The former Olympique de Marseille player is among the top targets for the Riyadh-based club, who are eager to further strengthen their squad this summer.

On the hunt for a high-caliber attacking addition, Al Hilal has taken a keen interest in Iliman Ndiaye. According to available reports, the Senegal international is considered a Plan B for the Saudi side should their top target, Ousmane Dembélé, prove unattainable.

Initial talks are said to have already begun between the player's representatives and the Al Hilal board. The Ndiaye camp reportedly remains open to a move to the Saudi Pro League, although negotiations are still at a very early stage.

After completing the signing of Crysencio Summerville, Al Hilal aims to continue their ambitious recruitment drive by adding another attacking star. Iliman Ndiaye has therefore emerged as a prime candidate on the club's shortlist.

Everton holds the key to the deal

While the player is not opposed to a transfer, the outcome of the move will ultimately depend on Everton's position. The English club, who rely on their Senegalese striker, will have the final say on any potential Saudi offer.

Arriving at Everton from Olympique de Marseille in the summer of 2023, Iliman Ndiaye continues to win admirers for his attacking versatility, ability to play multiple positions, and his impressive potential for further development.
