David Mimbang I want to follow in Carlos Baleba's footsteps

The Cameroonian prodigy David Mimbang dreams of following the same path as Carlos Baleba, the major attraction at Brighton.

In a statement given to the show Talents d’Afrique on Canal+, the Cameroonian star admitted he wants to follow in the footsteps of the Indomitable Lion.

Currently, the player who inspires me the most is our big brother who was here [EBFC] Carlos Baleba. He is an example for us. He was here with us, I was in U12 and he was in U15 or U16. He shows us that the dream is possible, and in view of what he is doing abroad, he is the one I take as a model.

At 16 years old, the young midfielder was voted best player of the UNIFFAC U17 Tournament qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN U 17 years).

Considered one of the most talented players in local football in Cameroon, David Mimbang is expected to soon move to the old continent.
