He's only 16 years old, but he's already making waves across Europe. Djylian N’Guessan, a young French striker of Ivorian descent, has been a key architect in France's impressive run at the U17 Euro.

In the semifinal against Belgium, he found the net once again. That's his fourth goal in as many games. Les Bleuets are through to the final, and N’Guessan is at the center of all the attention. Born in Saint-Nazaire in August 2008, Djylian N’Guessan embodies two cultures: the discipline of French football and the flair of Ivorian blood. On the pitch, his quickness, goal sense, and footballing intelligence are turning heads.

Trained at AS Saint-Étienne, he made his Ligue 1 debut this season. At just 16 years and 142 days old, he became the second youngest player in the club's history to start a match, behind Laurent Roussey. In total, he’s played eight matches with Les Verts—not many minutes, but enough to show he has both talent and character.

Today, several European clubs are keeping a close eye on him. According to Live Foot, his performances at the Euro have not gone unnoticed. Under contract with Saint-Étienne until 2027, he could start receiving offers as early as this summer.
