The Blood and Gold will play their first match on August 3, against the winner of the playoff between Union Sportive Monastirienne and Stade Tunisien, in the Super Cup for the 2024-2025 season.
The quartet of Algerian Youcef Belaili, South African Emias Mokwana, and Brazilians Yan Sasse and Rodrigo Rodrigues are still absent, and risk missing a significant part of the pre-season training.

This situation is disrupting coach Maher Kanzari's plans, who would have preferred to prepare for the season with a full squad.
What about the transfer window?
While waiting for its top players to return, Espérance de Tunis has officially announced the signing of four new players: young Burkinabé winger Jacques Diarra, Mauritanian Ibrahima Keita, and two Tunisians, Younes Rached and Ahmed Bouassida.
