Espérance de Tunis: Yassine Meriah cleared to return to competition
Sidelined since November, Espérance de Tunis captain Yassine Meriah now looks closer than ever to making his long-awaited return to action.

Fully recovered from the cruciate ligament injury he sustained in his knee, the Carthage Eagles defender has been given the green light to resume competition.
He is expected to be named in the squad for the match that will see the Tunisian capital club face Union Sportive Monastirienne on Thursday, May 15, in the final round of the 2024-2025 Tunisian Ligue 1 season.

This comeback couldn’t be better timed, with just weeks to go before the FIFA Club World Cup kicks off in the United States from June 14 to July 15.
