Young Cameroonian striker Etienne Eto'o seems more determined than ever to claim the Pro Liga top scorer title, the coveted "Pichichi" award.

The driving force behind Rayo Vallecano's reserve team has pulled off an impressive feat, netting 24 goals so far this season.

Only one player has managed to surpass him: Iván Villoslada Molina, who has scored 27 goals with Náxara CD.

With his contract at the Madrid-based club expiring on June 30, the son of Samuel Eto'o has yet to receive an offer for renewal. A summer transfer looks increasingly likely.

It’s worth noting that Eto'o has only made three appearances for the first team, scoring just one goal—coming in the Copa del Rey clash against CD Villamuriel.

At 22 years old, the Mallorca-born forward currently holds a market value of €200,000 according to transfermarkt.
