Etoile du Sahel: Abid heads to Portugal, Cristo set for a return!
Tunisian midfielder Oussema Abid has officially signed with Portuguese club Nacional Madeira on a three-year deal during the ongoing summer transfer window, after concluding his stint with Étoile Sportive du Sahel.
This transfer was completed on a free move, following the expiration of his contract with the Tunisian side. Abid will now join his compatriots Chihab Laabidi and Moetez Ennourani, who are already part of the Portuguese squad.
During his time with ESS, Abid played 113 official matches, netting 22 goals and providing 11 assists.
Al-Ahly confirms: Cristo targets a return to ESS
Heading the other way, Mohamed Dhaoui "Cristo," currently at Al-Ahly, is keen on making his way back to Sousse.
The sporting director of the Egyptian club, Mohamed Youssef, has confirmed that an official offer from ESS has been received, and hinted that a positive response could be forthcoming, honoring the player’s wishes.
For the record, Cristo was loaned to Club Sportif Sfaxien last season.
