The Tunisian international Ellyes Skhiri finally broke his goal drought with his club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Signed during the 2023 transfer window as a free agent following the end of his contract with his previous club, the star midfielder of the Carthage Eagles has consistently shone over the past few years.

On Thursday, he capitalized on the match against Ajax Amsterdam, part of the first leg of the Europa League round of 16, to end his goal drought that had lasted since November 9, 2023, precisely since his goal against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

The former Montpellier player could breathe a sigh of relief, having chased this goal for 483 days.
