Exclusive interview: Adailton takes aim at Seleçao stars

The former Tunisian international of Brazilian origin, Adailton, did not hold back against the stars of the Seleçao in an exclusive interview with Foot Africa.

Today's Seleçao is not like the one of the past... Unfortunately, the players are too pampered by the media and social networks. In the past, the national team played with a lot of love for the country and passion, today the players are only interested in their brand image, it's sad to say but it's the truth.

This did not stop him from being optimistic about Brazil's chances in the upcoming World Cup which will take place in 2026 in North America.

We can indeed win a World Cup with the current players. But they need to show more belonging and determination. Brazilian talent is still there, but the players' mindset must change to aspire to reclaim World Cup glory.

As a reminder, the "Verde-Amarela" has won the World Cup 5 times in the past, specifically in the 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002 editions.
