On loan from Al-Hilal without a buy option since this winter, Joao Cancelo has already won over Hans-Dieter Flick at FC Barcelona. The German manager has made up his mind.

According to information from the Catalan daily Sport this Monday, Hansi Flick has given the green light for the permanent signing of the Portuguese international in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, the Blaugrana have set two essential conditions for this deal: the defender, who is under contract until June 2027, must be released by the Saudi club and agree to a significant wage reduction.

If both of these conditions are met, Barça are ready to offer Cancelo a contract until June 2028. The Portuguese star is keen to continue his adventure with the current La Liga leaders.
