FC Nantes: very good news for Mostafa Mohamed

Good news about Mostafa Mohamed this Wednesday coming out of FC Nantes.

According to information from Ouest-France, Egyptian international striker Mostafa Mohamed has made his return to La Jonelière in the past few hours. The Pharaoh took part in an individual training session this Wednesday, away from the first-team squad, which he isn’t expected to rejoin anyway. It’s worth noting that the rest of the squad is currently on a training camp in La Baule this week.

Absent since the squad returned on June 24, Mostafa Mohamed had given no sign of life to his club. He was sent a letter every day to inform him that he would not be paid. He will train with the reserves (National 3) while the club looks for a way out for him during this summer transfer window.

For now, there are no offers on the table for FC Nantes, as he enters the final year of his contract. Relegated to Ligue 2, the Canaries are no longer counting on him.
