With a deep squad at his disposal, head coach Pape Thiaw will be spoilt for choice when it comes to filling the left wing position.

The latest reports suggest that Thiaw is seriously considering Ismaïla Sarr as Mané’s replacement.

The 27-year-old Saint-Louis native has rediscovered his top form this season, shining for Crystal Palace in the latest Premier League campaign.

Across 47 matches in all competitions, he notched up 12 goals and provided 8 assists.

The former FC Metz player has featured in 70 matches for the Lions, tallying 14 goals and 7 assists. His most recent goal for the national team came last September, when Senegal edged Burundi by the narrowest of margins.
