FIFA ranking: The African top 10 after the June international break
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) will announce the new world ranking of national teams on July 10.
According to estimates from the specialized site “football-ranking,” several African teams are expected to make significant gains in the new ranking, notably Morocco, who claimed victories over Tunisia (2-0) and Benin (1-0).

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Tunisia are also poised to be major beneficiaries in the new standings, in contrast to Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, and Mali.

Here is the projected African top 10 in the FIFA world ranking, according to calculations by the specialized site “football-ranking.”
1/ Morocco: 1,698.76 points
2/ Senegal: 1,631.72 points
3/ Egypt: 1,518.79 points
4/ Algeria: 1,508.01 points
5/ Nigeria: 1,483.03 points
6/ Côte d'Ivoire: 1,480.69 points
7/ Tunisia: 1,475.22 points
8/ Cameroon: 1,466.97 points
9/ Mali: 1,454.72 points
10/ South Africa: 1,441.64 points
