However, as confirmed by Real Madrid and the Spanish network Cadena SER, this 4-3-3 formation was decided entirely by public voting rather than a closed panel of tactical experts.

This democratic approach naturally led to a mix of undeniable superstars and deeply emotional selections, representing seven different nations.

An unstoppable front three

The attacking trident is undeniably terrifying. Real Madrid highlighted the inclusion of Kylian Mbappé who secured the Golden Boot with a staggering 10 goals.

He is joined by Lionel Messi who netted eight times en route to his third career World Cup final.

Completing the frontline is Erling Haaland. The lethal striker scored seven goals and dragged Norway to a historic quarter-final finish in his very first major international tournament.

Midfield masterclass
