Friendly: Barça kicks off with a win

In their first friendly match of the season this Friday, FC Barcelona secured a 4-1 victory over CE Europa, a third-division Spanish club also based in the Catalan capital.

Egyptian international Hamza Abdelkarim, fresh from the 2026 World Cup, scored Barça's second goal. The Blaugrana will continue their preseason preparations with a fixture against Birmingham next Friday.

Here is the FC Barcelona lineup against CE Europa: Szczesny - Fort, Christensen, Martin, Torrents - G. Fernandez, Fariñas - Bardghji, I. Diarra, S. Kluivert - Abdelkarim.
