Going into the Clásico, the gap between Real Madrid and Barcelona was seven points, but after that deserved win, Barcelona are now seven points clear at the top of the La Liga table and are now just one win away from Espanyol to be crowned La Liga champions.

They can also win the league title if Real Madrid drop points in their next game against Real Mallorca.

Hans Flick believes there's more to come from the Catalan side!

After beating Real Madrid 4-0 and overturning a 2-0 deficit, Hans Flick took to the press conference to talk about where his team needs to improve, especially the defence, which has conceded too many goals in the last few games.

I don’t feel like a champion yet… This is football. Yes, we’re in a strong position, and it would be great to win three titles, but we still need one more win, three points. And every opponent wants to beat us. We have the quality, and we’ll get there. We also have to celebrate this win against Madrid and appreciate what it means.

What did Flick have to say about Barcelona's defence?

Speaking about the team doing well offensively and applying the ideas that make them an excellent goal-scoring team, the German coach hinted that the team does have defensive issues but needs more time to work on it.

We have to improve a lot defensively and be more stable. When we press well, everything works, but when we make mistakes, like with the first goal, it becomes complicated. But the players worked well as a unit. Today was a tough challenge against very fast players. We need to fix some defensive issues, but with matches every three days, it’s often hard to train properly for each one.We have to improve a lot defensively and be more stable.
