Issoufou Dayo leaves RS Berkane after more than 10 years!

RS Berkane has officially announced the end of its journey with Burkinabé defender Issoufou Dayo, closing the book on a decade defined by immense success and unwavering loyalty.

Having arrived in 2015 from DR Congo’s Vita Club, Dayo, now 33, quickly established himself as a locker room leader. He played a pivotal role in the club’s triumphs, helping secure multiple national and continental titles.

Despite a recent contract extension following the CAF Confederation Cup, with hopes of continuing the adventure in the CAF Champions League, personal developments have led both parties to mutually terminate the agreement.

According to reliable Moroccan radio “Radio Mars,” a decisive meeting took place on Saturday, July 26, between Dayo and the club president. The outcome was a friendly agreement to end their collaboration.

Issoufou Dayo close to a transfer to Saudi Arabia

Meanwhile, multiple media outlets report that Issoufou Dayo is a top target for Saudi club Al-Ettifaq. The club has reportedly begun discussions with the player’s representatives in hopes of finalizing his transfer during the ongoing summer window.
