Jupiler League: two Africans included in the team of the season

Several African players stood out during the latest edition of the Jupiler League (Belgian championship).

Two of them were selected in the team of the season chosen by the Belgian French Community Radio and Television (RTBF). They are the Congolese midfielder Noah Sadiki from Union Saint-Gilloise and Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, who plays for KRC Genk.

Noah Sadiki's season in numbers

The Brussels native featured in 55 matches across all competitions this season, notching up 2 goals and 6 assists. His market value has soared on the specialist site Transfermarkt, reaching 10 million euros.

Tolu Arokodare's season in numbers

The Nigerian target man struck 23 goals and provided 7 assists in 45 appearances during the 2024-2025 season. Still only 24, he too saw his market value surge dramatically to 13 million euros.
