Liga: Aguerd finally fit for the Basque derby?
Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd looks set to be available for the Basque derby, which will see his club Real Sociedad face Real Athletic Club de Bilbao on Sunday as part of Matchday 34 in La Liga.
The star defender of the "Lions of the Atlas" has missed the last five La Liga matches due to a muscle injury.

He returned to full training with the squad on Wednesday and could therefore be included in the matchday squad for the Basque derby.
This is excellent news for Real Sociedad, who are aiming to climb the standings and perhaps even secure a spot in the Europa League or Conference League next season.

Nayef Aguerd's season in numbers
The Kénitra native is playing for the Spanish club on loan from West Ham, with whom he is under contract until 2027.
This season, Nayef Aguerd has featured in 35 matches across all competitions but has yet to find the back of the net.
