It goes without saying that the successful stint of Nicolas Jackson, the current Chelsea player, in La Liga has encouraged the Iberian club to invest in Senegalese talents.

In this regard, the reserve team includes three promising Senegalese players, namely Baye Gora Mbaye, Moussa Diallo, and Babacar Welle.

Baye Gora Mbaye

Aged 19, the young left-back joined the Yellow Submarine last October from Keur Madior Football Club on loan with an option to buy.

Moussa Diallo

Aged 18, the young defender was recruited by Villarreal last October from the Diambars Football Academy. He signed a 3-year contract with a two-year option.

Babacar Welle

The 16-year-old forward is considered one of the great hopes of Senegalese football. He also joined the Yellow Submarine last October.
