Liverpool: Deal reached with Hugo Ekitike
Hugo Ekitike

Hugo Ekitike, who still has the opportunity to play for Cameroon, is said to have reached an agreement with Liverpool this summer. A transfer is in the pipeline.

According to Foot Mercato, Liverpool have reached a personal agreement with Hugo Ekitike. The striker, who has Cameroonian roots, is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until June 2029. After weeks of behind-the-scenes negotiations, the player’s representatives and the English club have agreed on contract terms, including the length of the deal and salary.

This move comes as Liverpool look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season, aiming to add more depth and variety to their forward line. Liverpool hope to seal the deal quickly to fend off competition from other clubs interested in the Cameroonian's potential.
