Hugo Ekitike is indeed set to join Liverpool this summer, just a year after making his move to Eintracht Frankfurt permanent. The two clubs reached an agreement yesterday, though sources differ on the exact figures. According to Sky Germany, the deal is for a fixed fee of €90 million plus €5 million in add-ons.

According to Skysports UK, Liverpool will pay a fixed €80 million, with an additional €12.5 million in variables. In any case, Ekitike has been given the green light to travel to England. He is expected to undergo his medical this week and sign a contract until 2030, with an option for an extra year.
