Morocco will face Tunisia on June 7 in a friendly match likely to take place at the Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

This derby will allow both teams to prepare for the remaining matchdays in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, as well as the final phase of the 2026 World Cup.

For this friendly encounter, Morocco will be without several key players who will be committed to their respective clubs in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, including Achraf Hakimi (PSG), Adem Aznou (Bayern Munich), Yassine Bounou (Al Hilal), Sofiane Rahimi (Al Ain), and Jamel Harkass (Wydad).

Walid Regragui, the coach of the "Atlas Lions," will have to do without these stars as the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has given clubs the green light to withhold their international players during the June international break.

He can, however, count on dual nationals like Omar El Helali and Chemsdine Talbi who have recently changed their sporting nationality to represent Morocco on the international stage.
