Manchester City: Erling Haaland accused of assaulting the club's mascot!
Erling Haaland finds himself at the center of controversy. The star striker of Manchester City has been the subject of a complaint filed by a club employee, who claims to have been assaulted while wearing the official mascot costume, Moonbeam.
The incident allegedly took place on October 26, 2024, during a Premier League match against Southampton, according to information from the tabloid The Sun.
Two violent blows to the back of the head!
The employee reportedly felt two violent blows to the back of the head while posing for a photo. Stunned, she allegedly asked a colleague who had struck her. The response was clear: "It's Erling."
Distressed and in tears, she reportedly informed security officials, who reacted with mockery, suggesting she could "boast about being hit by Haaland."
The complaint ultimately did not succeed!
Following this event, the employee reportedly experienced vomiting and neck pain. Although a scan revealed no serious injury, she filed a complaint, which ultimately did not succeed.
For its part, Manchester City conducted an internal investigation and concluded that Haaland did not cause intentional harm.
It's worth noting that in December 2024, the employee learned that her contract would not be renewed. She now accuses the club of attempting to cover up the affair. Haaland has not publicly responded to the accusations.
