Manchester United pushes for this new manager!

As Manchester United is already preparing for the future of its bench, the name Luis Enrique is being strongly linked to Old Trafford. While Michael Carrick is serving as interim manager with respectable results in the league, several influential voices within the United camp believe the club should target a high-profile tactician for next season.

Luis Enrique impresses in England

Among the profiles being discussed, the Paris Saint-Germain manager stands out as a prime target. British media pundits argue that the Spaniard’s track record and experience align perfectly with the ambitions of a club the size of Manchester United. Julian Nagelsmann’s name is also making the rounds, but Luis Enrique is particularly admired for his playing philosophy and his ability to demand a high collective standard.

Former Red Devils defender Patrice Evra has also weighed in on this possibility:

"Luis Enrique would be the perfect manager for Manchester United. I love this man, I love his philosophy."

The former French international, however, did qualify his statement by praising Michael Carrick’s current work, believing the interim boss also deserves to be considered for the role long term. For now, the Spanish manager’s future remains tied to PSG, where his contract runs until 2027.
