Mercato: USM Alger interested in Che Malone!
The management of USM Alger is looking to reshape the squad by parting ways with foreign players who have not met expectations.
In this context, Cameroonian defender Che Malone Fondoh Junior has emerged as a serious option to bolster the back line. At 26 years old, he currently plays for Simba SC, a Tanzanian club, and recently featured in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Che Malone was signed by Simba for 77.4 million CFA francs, which is roughly $126,000. However, he could soon be leaving the Tanzanian side, as negotiations are underway with USM Alger for a possible move during the summer transfer window.
Official negotiations between USM Alger and Simba for Che Malone
Transfer market specialist journalist Mikey Junior recently reported on platform X that USM Alger has started formal talks with the player, describing this transfer as one to watch.
He said: "USM Alger are in official negotiations with Cameroonian defender Che Malone from Simba. Talks are ongoing, and this is definitely a deal to keep an eye on."
Meanwhile, USM Alger has confirmed the departure of Congolese defender Kevin Mondogo after one season at the club, by mutual agreement.
