Mercato: What is Etienne Eto'o's next destination?

The Cameroonian prodigy Etienne Eto’o continues to make waves with Rayo Vallecano’s reserve team this season.

The son of Samuel Eto’o, president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), has scored 28 goals, making him one of the standout stars of the Spanish third division.

This outstanding performance could well earn him a significant reward from the Madrid club, as his contract is set to expire on June 30.

Barring a dramatic turn of events, young Eto’o is expected to play next season with Rayo Vallecano’s first team.

Many in Cameroon have called for Etienne Eto'o to be given a shot with the “Indomitable Lions.” However, this seems unlikely for now, especially as he has yet to prove himself at the highest level in European football.
