Moroccan international Jamal Harkass will be given an exit pass during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Under contract with Wydad until 2026, the Oujda native could leave the club this summer, even before the Club World Cup.

According to the Moroccan newspaper “almountakhab,” the Casablanca club is deeply disappointed with the player’s performances in the 2024-2025 season, leading to the decision to part ways with him.

A dramatic turn of events for the 29-year-old, who, paradoxically, has become a key player in the plans of national team coach Walid Regragui.

Jamal Harkass’s season in numbers

In 28 appearances this season, the Atlas Lion has scored 2 goals and provided a single assist.

At 29, Jamal Harkass is the third most valuable player in Morocco, with a market value of €1.5 million, trailing only Mohamed Rabie Hrimat (€1.6 million) and Youssef Belammari (€1.7 million).
