Monnapule Saleng's saga with the Orlandum Pirates is over!

Amid much speculation about the future of the long-serving Orlando Pirates winger, a former Orlando Pirates player has emerged to openly criticize the performance of South African Monnapule Saleng in the South African media.

The legend who criticized the player is Lucky Lekgwathi who came out openly and said he believes that Monnapule Saleng played a deep role in Orlando Pirates' exit from the Champions League and their loss of the Betway Premiership race as well.

What Lucky Lekgwathi had to say about the player!

"The whole Saleng situation nearly derailed everything, in my opinion," he explained. "Without that drama, we'd be having a completely different conversation right now - we'd actually have proper depth on both wings."

"As things stand, if Mohau Nkota isn't available, we're left scrambling with no clear replacement for that right side."

The 27-year-old winger has created significant tension within the Orlando Pirates squad after his sudden disappearance in early December. His absence stems from unresolved salary negotiations that the club refused to accommodate. Saleng hasn't featured for the Soweto giants since the dispute began, fueling strong rumors of an inevitable departure when the transfer window opens.
