Mons Bassouamina has officially left Clermont Foot in France this Tuesday, July 15, 2025, to join the Cypriot league. The Congolese international has signed with Pafos FC for the next two seasons.

Clermont Foot and Mons Bassouamina part ways after just one season. Having arrived from Pau FC last summer, the Congolese forward made 33 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists for the Red and Blue. His performances did not go unnoticed by sharp-eyed scouts. After negotiations, he took off for Paphos, Cyprus.

"Pafos FC is pleased to announce the signing of Congolese international Mons Bassouamina from French club Clermont Foot. The player has signed a contract until 2027," announced the Cypriot club.

For the first time, Mons Bassouamina is leaving France to embark on an adventure abroad. Since the start of his career, the Congolese striker has only played in French leagues, representing AS Nancy-Lorraine, US Boulogne CO, FC Bastia-Borgo, Pau FC, and Clermont Foot 63.
