Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain), Yassine Bounou (Al Hilal), Brahim Diaz (Real Madrid), and Sofiane Rahimi (Al Ain) are all expected to remain with their clubs for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

According to the latest reports, these four players should be released after the first friendly of the “Atlas Lions” against Tunisia’s “Carthage Eagles” on June 6.

With a wealth of talented players competing in the world’s top leagues, Morocco shouldn’t have much trouble finding quality replacements for this quartet.

For the record, “Atlas Lions” head coach Walid Regragui has called up the following players:

Goalkeepers: Yassine Bounou, Munir Mohamedi, Mehdi Benabid.

Defenders: Achraf Hakimi, Omar El Hilali, Abdel Abqar, Abdelhak Assal, Jawad El Yamiq, Zakaria El Ouahdi, Youssef Belammari, Oussama El Azzouzi, Adam Masina.

Midfielders: Sofyan Amrabat, Bilal El Khannouss, Ismael Saibari, Azzedine Ounahi, Oussama Targhalline, Amir Richardson.

Forwards: Brahim Diaz, Maroan Sanadi, Youssef En-Nesyri, Soufiane Rahimi, Ayoub El Kaabi, Eliesse Ben Seghir, Hamza Igamane, Osame Sahraoui, Abde Ezzalzouli.
