Mostafa Mohamed apologizes to Hossam Hassan

The Nantes player Mostafa Mohamed has finally apologized to Egypt's coach Hossam Hassan.

According to the Egyptian press, the Nantes striker contacted the "Pharaohs" boss to apologize after his disrespectful behavior during the last international break.

Unhappy with his substitution during the match against Sierra Leone for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the former Zamalek player behaved quite aggressively towards his coach.

The native of Giza will therefore be part of Hossam Hassan's plans for the two friendly matches in June.

Mostafa Mohamed's record with Egypt

In 47 matches played with the Pharaohs, across all competitions, he has scored 13 goals and provided 6 assists.

As a reminder, his last goal with the Egyptian team dates back to March 2024, in a friendly match against New Zealand. He managed to deliver only one assist in his last 9 matches.
