Neymar could have played at the 2025 Club World Cup

Brazilian international Neymar could have played in the 2025 Club World Cup, currently taking place in the United States.

In an interview with Flow Podcast, the former Paris Saint-Germain star revealed that he had been approached by a club set to participate in the tournament.

I'm in good physical shape. We discussed with some teams about taking part in the World Cup. Fluminense almost made it happen, but I preferred to stay and train a bit more. Physically, I'm at 100%, but I need to improve so I can come back in top form.

Neymar eager to reignite his career

Hampered by a series of injuries, the Mogi das Cruzes native is hoping to reignite his career.

During his last stint with Santos, he played 12 matches across all competitions, recording 3 goals and 3 assists. His market value is currently estimated at 12 million euros, a far cry from the 180 million euros it was valued at in 2018.
