We could have considered taking the risk of calling up Bentaleb in March, but now we can say with satisfaction that he has returned to top-level football, and we can use these ten days to reassess his qualities.
Absent from the national team since June 2024 due to health issues, the LOSC Lille powerhouse has been selected for the two friendly matches against Rwanda and Sweden, scheduled for June 5 and 10, 2025.
As a reminder, Bentaleb recently returned to competition after a long hiatus caused by cardiac problems.

Bentaleb's record with Algeria
Since making his international debut in 2014, the former Tottenham player has earned 52 caps for the "Fennecs," netting 2 goals.
